I read the article, but I'm still confused, why do you wish you never had kids? I understand that the pain along the way has been unpleasant, but is your argument that your children aren't worth the pain?

Relationships, friendships, and children all expose you to the potential for pain. Most people would say that they are worth it. I understand a sentiment like "I wish it hadn't come with so much pain" but the statement being made was quite a bit stronger in a way I don't think is justified by the article
