I think the safe route is definitely a solid one. I've often thought that when we're empty nesters, my wife might like getting a part time job at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Even if we didn't need the money, she genuinely enjoys spending time in art supply and decoration stores like that and I really think it would feel more like a hobby to her than a job
