If it is really “irrespective of intensity,” then would walking be as effective as running?

I do remember seeing an interesting video a while ago advocating the benefits of walking:

I am in the unenviable position of being a sedentary office worker. Although I hope to eventually find a career/lifestyle that allows for more movement, I basically go on a walk every day on my lunch break and lift weights once a week. That’s my exercise.

I used to “run” when I was in college (I didn’t actually jog though, I played ultimate Frisbee once or twice a week)
