If we're to the point of complaining about how terrible it is when some sommeliers sometimes hand the wine list to men, then yes, we're done with gender roles. If one man can make a innocent comment about how he likes gender roles and have a bunch of people try to straighten him out then yes, we're done with gender roles.

But I think you keep missing the point, there is no neutral ground. If there you're saying there's evidence that gender roles are harmful, you are discouraging people's decision making every bit as I am encouraging them. We all have the right to advocate for the way of life that seems best. To me, gender roles seem best. They don't have to be so strong that they say that boys have to play with cars and girls with Barbies, but they do have to be strong enough to encourage men to protect, provide, pursue, lead, serve, and be an emotional ballast
