It seems like MAGA is doing the opposite of this. Three prominent liberals have recently been warmly welcomed into the MAGA fold: RFK, Elon, and Tulsi Gabbard. As a Republican who isn't MAGA, part of me wishes you were right and I could warn people that it's a self destructive cancer. The problem is that it doesn't seem to be true.

But even not being MAGA I had no problem voting for Trump this time around (I didn't vote for him the first two times, back when I thought more like you did). Because it's pretty clear that despite his manifold flaws and shortcomings, I would want him and not Kamala as my representative
