It's interesting that your first point of guilt was a nagging doubt that you were letting down generations of feminist ancestors. When my wife quit her (very lucrative) career to stay home eight years ago, she was told by her co-workers that she was setting the women's lib movement back 50 years. My thought was that it sounds more liberating for women to be able to make their own choices without societal pressure to conform. I get that the "women don't belong in the workplace" thing was a bad idea and we should be grateful that feminists helped fight that, but it seems like we're in serious danger of just shifting the group that's in control of the decisions that women make
