Right now I have 10, I’m looking to grow each of the 10 that I have and to add more.
Here’s one of the ways that I think about it: Let’s say you want to make $100,000 a year obviously we all want to make as much as possible, but let’s just say this is the next milestone someone is excited about hitting). If you have one stream of income, it has to be $100,000 a year. If you have two, each can be $50k. If you have 10 they can average $10k each. If you have 20 they can average $5k each.
Right now my income streams are:
- My 9–5 Job
- YouTube (I’m not active on YouTube, but money still trickles in)
- Amazon’s Affiliate Program
- The Kindle book I published
- Udemy’s affiliate program
- Medium’s Partner Program
- Quora’s partner program
- Patreon
- Anchor (the podcasting platform I use)
- Freelance writing (I have one client and am looking to add more)
There are also three of four more I’ve started experimenting with but haven’t earned any money from yet.
The idea is to eventually have enough income streams that I am secure even if I lose my 9–5 job (or want to leave)
